Streaks / Smears

We recommend that you wipe the rubber of your blade with a microfiber towel to clean off any contaminants from the rubber. Do this as needed, depending on your local weather conditions. 

Also, recommend that you clean the windshield with a heavy-duty cleanser such as Rain-X Xtreme Clean, which can be found at Walmart or Amazon. Oftentimes, road grime, oil, pollen, waxes, and worn rain repellent can create a film on the windshield and limit the blade from getting a clean swipe. This can cause streaking, smearing, skipping, chattering, or squeaking.

 • Photos of the wiper blade and the issue, if possible

We usually require a receipt within 90 days of purchase; bypass this requirement by including the phrase “Charlie India Tango” in the Description section.

Before installing a new blade, we recommend cleaning your windshield with a heavy-duty cleanser to remove residue that may affect performance.
